The MCAD identity is an evolutionary system born-out of collaboration between the MCAD student-body and end-users. This flexible system was designed to work for—and reflect the spirit and individuality of MCAD. Within the stationery the end-user can select and place images known as “pics” (a library of small graphic illustrations donated by students). By doing so, the end-users can engage in the final “design” of their stationery. With each new communication a new solution appears. With each new solution new possibilities occur. With each new possibility more of the identity is revealed.
